Welcome 2010!

Its been so long since I posted! The beginning of January was full of family birthdays. The new year started with Alisha's birthday party (postponed from the big snow storm). We celebrated at Gymboree and the next day at Bollywood Bistro! Ry had a great time at both parties.


My birthday was also in early January. It was nice being with Ry on my first birthday as a Mommy! For my birthday, my parents took us out to lunch and Rayan enjoyed his time hanging out at the mall. We forgot the stroller at home and had to rent one from the mall. Ry LOVED it. I don't know why, it doesn't seem that comfy?

A couple weeks later was Nana's birthday! A punjabi festival called Lohri was a couple day before so they had a party in honor of Rayan! There was a bonfire, songs and lots of yummy food! Ry stayed up way past his bedtime to enjoy the festivities.

Its been a busy month full of fun! Rayan turned 1 on January 20 and we have been busy planning the parties and now re cooperating from all of the fun. Stay tuned for a post from all of his celebrations!

Rayan's First Christmas

This was Rayan's first Christmas! He had a great time with family. Ry loves grabbing the ornaments from the tree and touching the lights. He's been so busy with that, he paid no attention to the gifts! Christmas Eve we had Nana, Nani & Sammy come over for dinner. Ry got to open his presents before bedtime. First he opened his gift from Nani & Nana.


And then he opened his gift from Sammy Mama, Elmo! Ry loved it!

Christmas morning Ry slept in till almost 9! What a nice gift for Mommy & Daddy! Then he got up and played with his gifts and opened some more.

In the afternoon we headed over to Ajay & Kareena's house for lunch and to visit Dadi & Dada. Kareena and Ry had lots of fun together, opening gifts, eating paper, and looking at all the toys they got!





To continue the Christmas fun, we headed to our annual Secret Santa party with my cousins. This year it was at Alisha's house! Ry had fun hanging out with Alisha and playing with all her toys.

Happy 1st Birthday Kareena!

Kareena's first birthday party was this evening at Little Gym. Rayan had so much fun helping his cousin celebrate her first birthday!

So Much Snow!

This weekend was a very snowy one! We got about 17 inches of snow! Me and Ry were not feeling well, so we stayed in and watched Piyush shovel us out.

And we ate alot!

On Sunday, after the snow stopped we were able to get out of the house. First we let Ry check out the snow. He seemed to cold to enjoy it!

In the evening we attended Brady's 2nd birthday party. Ry had a great time crawling around in the mini moon bounce. Happy Birthday Brady!

11 Months Old!

My baby is 11 months old! Here he is with Mr. Bear again!

Rayan had a fun weekend. We went over to the Sanghani's place for dinner. Hema cooked a nice meal for the adults and the boys hung out! They hadn't seen each other in months and had a lot to catch up on!


Later during the weekend, Piyush's Kaki & cousin Dupal came into town for a visit. They met Rayan for the first time!


And he had lots of fun playing with all the toys at Dadi & Dada's house. Thanks Ajay for sharing with Ry! He loved the little ride on toy! Ajay, Kareena and Ry were all smiles meeting Kaki & Dupal Fui. Come and visit again!

Happy Birthday Sammy Mama!

It was Sammy Mama's birthday yesterday and we went out for dinner. Rayan had a hard time sitting still but he enjoyed the food and company!

Daddy taught Rayan how to color!

But Ry was much more interested in chewing on his place mat!
