Road Trip

This fourth of July weekend, we took a road trip to Philly and New Jersey. Rayan's first trip out of the state and first time in the car for a long period. He did great! He got a little fussy towards the end, but overall he kept busy playing with his buddy Octi and listening to Mommy & Daddy talk. He also napped quite a bit.

First stop was Philadelphia where Rayan met Paral Fui (Daddy's Cousin) and her husband Sharan Uncle. He also met his new little cousin, Tarak, who is about 2.5 months younger than Ry.




Ry gets really excited when he meets people his size. I had to hold his hands down when he met Tarak because he kept trying to touch him. Tarak is a cutie and didn't mind at all. He just watched Rayan curiously. We hope to see the Nirmul's again sometime soon!

The final destination for our road trip was New Jersey. We had to attend a Sangeet / Garba for Sumit and Grishma. Sumit is a close family friend that I grew up with. We met up with Nani, Nana and Sammy Mama at the hotel, where Ry stretched his legs in his pack'n play. Then he got ready to go to the party!


At the party, Sumit Uncle taught Rayan Dandiya Raas. He took a really long nap, but not before he posed for some cute pics with Mommy & Daddy.
