Rakhi - Part 1

Today is an Indian holiday, Rakhi. It is basically a day for brothers and sisters. Rayan has two sisters to celebrate with, both about a month older than him! We went to my aunt & uncle's place for Rakhi. My mom (Rayan's Nani) had to tie Rakhi on her brothers and that is where Ry would see his cousin / sister Alisha. On the way there, Ry was showing me his new funny face!

First stop was Nani's & Nana's place, where I tied Rakhi on Sammy.



We then headed over to the party, where on arrival the paparazzi was all over Ry!




While Nani and her sister, Usha Masi, tied rakhi on her 3 brothers, Ry had his dinner.

So, before Alisha's arrival, Ry was a little cranky. It was getting late, and closer to his bed time. As soon as he saw Alisha, another little person, he got a big smile on his face. Alisha tied the cute baby Krishna rakhi on Ry, with her mommy's help. The kids got their first taste of Indian sweets. Ry really liked the rakhi, but it eventually ended up in his mouth.


Ry opened his gifts from Alisha and from Alisha's Dadi, and then played some more!

On a side note, Ry met Caesar for the first time. Caesar is my Mona Masi's dog. He is a big dog but Ry was really good with him. I didn't get any pics though :(
