OBX Vacation

This past week Rayan went on his very first vacation! We went to the Outer Banks (Coralla, NC) for the week of Labor Day. We rented a house with my cousins the Doshi's, the Mothelompet's, and the Satija's. Rayan had his cousin Alisha there for company and Tiger & Caesar too! Despite the rain, Rayan had a great time, and so did we!

During the week, we discovered some things about our little Ry. We learned that Rayan loves dogs! Every time Ry was upset or whining and either Caesar or Tiger walked by, Ry would just crack up and try to go after them!

Another thing we learned was Ry's love for the water! He loved the beach and pool. The freezing pool water didn't bother him at all. I was too much of a wimp to go in, but Piyush took Ry in for a couple of minutes. At the beach, Rayan loved the waves. He looked so cute in his swim outfits and hats! We couldn't resist taking so many pics. On a side note, you may notice some scratches on Ry's nose in some pictures. On Wednesday, Ry had a fall pool side and hurt his head and nose. He was a trooper... I think I was more hurt!






This week Rayan also had many new developments. On Tuesday we realized that 2 of his bottom teeth popped. We knew he had been teething because of all the drool, plus he was running a low grade fever the week before. He also has FINALLY figured out chewing. Or the motions of it. No matter what I gave him before, he would just suck it up. Now, he chews it and kind tests the texture of it. Hopefully he will enjoy food more now?

During the week, Ry also started pulling himself up on things. He loves to stand so now he finds things that he grab and pulls himself up. So cute! I don't know how we didn't get a picture of it! Ok long post, but lots happened last week! Here are more pics from the week!




Visit to the aquarium on a rainy day. Rayan seemed really interested in the fish!
